Hey there! We’re Jake and Amaris, the couple behind Local Love List—your guide to discovering Atlanta’s most crave-worthy restaurants, date-night gems, and must-try local eats.

We started Local Love List because, between the two of us, we were always looking for the next great spot. From romantic dinners to late-night bites and brunch debates, we realized our search for good food—and our totally different opinions about it—could actually help other people find new favorites, too.

So we turned our date nights into a mission:
Share real recommendations, support local restaurants, and help ATLiens fall in love with their city—one plate at a time.

What Makes Local Love List Different?

We’re not food critics. We’re real people who really love to eat. Every spot we feature is one we’ve actually visited and debated over (sometimes passionately). If we wouldn’t bring our friends or recommend it to our own friends and family, it doesn’t make the list.
